Eight Synod Researchers can be found in the ruins of Rielle. A team researching the ruin's Ayleid tablets had previously been forced to evacuate after an army of undead sprang from their tombs. A second team was then sent back to continue investigating the ruin in the hope of locating the famed Flamelight Spire, but all perished at the hands of the undead.
