Quest-Related EventsEdit

When you find Sage Odana, you will find Alldin's unconscious body alongside several other unconscious skalds.

You will need to learn a lyric of the Song of Sinmur from his dream vision. He will be hiding between some rocks and it appears that he is having a dream of scouting the Dominion forces as part of a Pact military assignment:

"Hush, fool. Do you want to give my position away?"

Don't worry, I won't let the nightmares get you.

"Nightmares. What are you talking about? I'm hiding from the Dominion army. Don't you see them encamped just ahead?"

Of course … soldier. Report in. What can you tell me about the "Song of Sinmur"?

"Oh! The Jarl! I didn't recognize you. I remember only the first line: "Gather 'round all who'd hear.""

Speaking to him again after learning the line:

"Don't worry, Jarl. I'll keep an eye on these bastards. Even if it means my death. For the Pact!"

After learning the entire song before meeting Sage Odana:

"They'll never take me alive, Jarl. Don't worry about me."

While you are defending Maraamur while he's playing the Song of Sinmur, Alldin's dream vision will appear to support the skald.

Once you succeeded in driving off Vaermina's forces, Alldin will be awake.
