Apprentice Esmond is a member of the Mages Guild and the apprentice to Magister Andrelo. Depending on your choices during the related quest, he can be found at the Cold Moon Inn in Windhelm, the Tall Trunk Tavern in Vulkwasten or the Sisters of the Sands Inn in Sentinel.

Quest-Related EventsEdit
After learning that the Worm Cult was responsible for recent attacks on the Fighters Guild, you are given a lead by a former cultist who says his leader was supposed to meet with Magister Andrelo at the nearby town. When you enter the town's inn, you will find Apprentice Esmond comforting Andrelo:
- Apprentice Esmond: "You should rest, Magister Andrelo. That incident has you all out of sorts."
Speaking with Apprentice Esmond before Magister Andrelo:
- "If you're here to speak to Magister Andrelo, please state your business and go. She's still recovering from that terrible incident."
Talking with Magister Andrelo she says she fell unconscious after meeting a strange woman just before she was supposed to board a coach to Rivenspire. She also mentions that Apprentice Esmond sighted a duplicate of Andrelo boarding the same coach.
If you talk with Apprentice Esmond afterwards:
- "I think you asked quite enough questions of Magister Andrelo. She needs to recover her strength for the trip ahead. We can't miss the meeting in Shornhelm."
