Arelette Dubeau is a Breton apprentice mage found at the Mages Guild in Vulkhel Guard. She was formerly apprenticed to Onimiril, before the Altmer was expelled from the guild. However, she has more immediate problems after a mishap of Takaano.

Quest-Related EventsEdit
While helping Mirri Elendis find the Dwarf Puzzle Cube that was stolen from her grandfather, a lead on thief will lead you to Vulkhel Guard to search for Onimiril. Takaano is willing to offer information if you help him with a problem. He accidentally turned Arelette into a chicken, and you need to bring her back before she gets eaten at the Salted Wings Tavern.
After you find, chase and catch the Mopey Chicken, you can bring her back to Takaano who will give you the information. Afterward, he attempts to reverse the transformation on Arelette:
- Takaano: "Takaano hopes this works."
- <There is flash and the chicken turns into Arelette Dubeau.>
- Arelette Dubeau: "Ugh, Takaano! I ought to bawk your ears for—did I just cluck?"
There still seems to be issues:
- "I can't b—bawk … I can't b—bawk—dammit! I can't believe Takaano turned me into a chicken!
