Captain Thoran is a Nord fighter found at the Blessed Crucible. He serves as the third mini-boss of the dungeon.

As a boss type enemy, Captain Thoran is immune to all forms of crowd control effects.
- Flare
- A basic ranged attack that does minor flame damage.
- Void Burst
- The boss releases a burst of purple magic from above that lands on top of a target player dealing moderate magical damage as indicated by a red circle. This attack can be interrupted but has a very short cast time.
- Void
- The Void Burst releases three smaller bursts of magic that travel outwards from the center along the ground, dealing moderate magical damage as indicated by red circles.
- Fire Rune
- The bosses places two flaming circles on the ground that deal moderate flame damage over time as indicated by red circles.µ
- Run Away!
- Captain Thoran takes some distance from his target.
- Magelight
- Captain Thoran summons a mote of magelight, revealing stealthed and invisible players around himself for 5 seconds. Exposed players cannot return to stealth or invisibility for 3 seconds.
- Summon Atronach
- The boss summons a Lava Atronach to shield him. While it is alive, Captain Thoran is immune to damage, in the form of a damage shield, hence it must be killed as soon as possible.
