Nelly seems to be getting more nervous by the day whenever we go near the water. And fish have started to grow scarcer. The storm approaches faster than anticipated.
Nisswo Akech-Chun has called for a gathering. Naturally, at my home, so that I have an excuse to make spicy fishcakes. But he seems to have something important to discuss. No matter how much I pried, he was adamant on only revealing the reason during the meeting, but said he knew of a way to protect us from the storm.
The villagers are adamant about not leaving the islet. This is our home! It cost us much to move here from Solstice, and we will not abandon it, no matter how powerful the storm may be.
The meeting time grows near, and my guar won't step one foot on the beach to help me carry today's catch back for tonight.

I still can't believe it. Corelanyan High Elves standing on the very islet we came to in order to escape them! I guarantee they would not have received a welcome like this years ago. Some of the villagers are still uncertain, almost furious. But we are all desperate.
Strangely, the Elves seem apologetic and kind. They want to help us protect the village. Akech-Chun is to meet them tomorrow in the temple to discuss the plans.
I hope he was right to trust them.

After returning from this morning's fishing trip, I found the village in ruins and the villagers turned into some sort of corporeal undead. Nelly and I have taken refuge in my hut, but I can feel the storm approaching. And there is something else prowling the islet. Something evil.
Whatever happened here, I know Akech-Chun tried. There is nothing left for me here. I will get in my boat and sail to Solstice. If the tides are with me, I may just escape this cursed place.
