Like the High Elves, the Sea Elves also came from Old Aldmeris. But where the Altmer settled in the paradise of Summerset, the Maormer ended up in low, marshy, and insect-infested Pyandonea—and the Sea Elves have never forgiven the High Elves for it.

Ilayas Ruins

The Ilayas Ruins are a set of Ayleid ruins in western Malabal Tor, just east of Velyn Harbor. The ruins are home to the Stormwardens, a group of Bosmer safekeeping the Sphere of Storms, which is used to protect Malabal Tor's coast. Sea Vipers have invaded the ruins in an attempt to obtain the Sphere for their own uses.
