The Ravener is the Dremnaken responsible for the destruction of Kalmur Clan. It can be encountered in Ardent Hope. When initially seen near Kastav, it appears much more powerful than what it is later on, though it cannot be fought at that time.

Skills and AbilitiesEdit
- Bite
- The Dremnaken attacks with its maw, dealing low physical damage.
- Claw
- The Dremnaken attacks with its claw, dealing slightly more physical damage than "Bite".
- Back Kick
- If standing behind the Dremnaken, it will kick with its hind legs, indicated by a red cone, dealing moderate physical damage and staggering targets.
- Leap
- The Dremnaken leaps around its target, though it doesn't deal damage.
- Pinning Strike
- The Dremnaken pounces forward at its target, dealing moderate physical damage and knocking them down. This can be blocked.
- Summon
- The Ravener howls, becoming invulnerable, and also summoning three Risen Souls. They must be killed to make The Ravener vulnerable again. If not killed fast enough, the souls explode and send their energy back into The Ravener, either healing it for 10% of its health or enraging it.
Quest-Related EventsEdit
When you tracking down the beast, you will eventually encounter it trapping Kastav. It will flee once you get closer:
- Khazasha: "There! The Ravener! Hurry!"
- The Ravener: "I cannot find it! My prey has left Nirn."
- Khazasha: "It fled! And…it spoke?"
- Kastav: "Others? How?"
- Khazasha: "I'll ease his pain. See if he knows anything."
When you reach the outside of the Tower of Conviction, you will hear its voice:
- The Ravener: "My prey! I sense it near. Find it."
- Khazasha: "You hear that? The Ravener. From the tower."
As you progress through the tower, it will sense you more:
- The Ravener: "It arrives! I shall know its secrets."
After you read the Vow of Consumption, you'll find out its goal was to consume Atrozu to learn the concept of family. Eventually you will confront it outside the room:
- The Ravener: "My prey arrives! The hunt is complete."
It will summon Risen souls to fight you:
- The Ravener: "I will devour the souls of all your loved ones, Kalmur!"
