Nisa Darythi is a Dark Elf mage and Wizard in Great House Telvanni. He is the lord of Tel Gilan. While still powerful, his mind is in decline, and he suffers from frequent lapses in memory and focus.
A former member of the Parliament of Bugs, Darythi was removed when the machinations of Mistress Rathra saw him replaced by her disciple Mistress Eldale, as opposed to the Wizard Bal Gernak. Darythi maintains a strangely symbiotic relationship with the nearby Imperial colony of Helnim, using the colony for trade, and being the primary employer of the Fighters Guild members there. His steward and mouth is Vyhlathri Ashara.
