Prince Ji'Morashu-ri is an Ohmes-raht Khajiit noble who can be found in the Elsweyr Mission of the Ebon Tower, in Old Ebonheart. He is a prince of Elsweyr and acts as an ambassadorial representative of that province in Morrowind. At the time of your arrival, he is grievously concerned by the kidnapping of his brother, S'Khar-ra.
The prince is also the recipient of a package from a mysterious Khajiit sorceror during the events of The Rift.
He wears an extravagant shirt, a pair of exquisite pants, and a pair of exquisite shoes. He carries a portion of moon sugar.
Like all Ohmes-raht Khajiit, he can see well in the dark, can demoralize others for short periods, and has a natural resistance to paralysis, but otherwise knows no spells.

DialogueEdit
- (If you aided Aillijar's escape during 'Catcatching in Almas Thirr'):
- "%Name thanks you sincerely for rescuing Aillijar, %PCName. Khajiit have few allies here in Morrowind. %Name is glad he can count you among the few."
- (If you are a Khajiit):
- "%Name thanks you sincerely for rescuing Aillijar. The rescue was especially brave given the rumors of "Catcatchers" down south. %Name hopes that this will not get you into any trouble with such unsavory folks, %PCName."
- Background:
- "%Name is the youngest prince and ambassador of Elsweyr. %Name's brother, S'Khar-ra, and his advisor, Dro'jorr, share these duties with %Name. We have been fighting against the injustices inflicted upon our Khajiit brethren here in Morrowind with no success thus far."
- Elsweyr:
- "Ji'Morashu-ri would rather be there, basking in the warm sands of the Ne Quin-al instead of dealing with the savages of this miserable, damp refuse-pit. However, %Name cannot shirk the duties he has to his people."
- "Slaver scum the lot of them. They keep Ji'Morashu-ri's brethren in shackles, toiling away in mines and fields with explicit approval from the Empire. Dro'Jorr [sic], S'Khar-ra and Ji'Morashu-ri have done our best to make our case for freedom to House Hlaalu and The Empire, but our pleas have thus far fallen on deaf ears. We have even received threats of violence from native Dunmer slaver groups."
- Khajiit:
- "Indeed. It may come as a surprise to you, %PCName, but %Name is indeed a Khajiit. One doesn't see too many of %Name's kind around here though. Ohmes-raht are not very suited for slave labor compared to their Suthay-raht brethren."
The Prince of RatsEdit
- Greetings:
- (Upon first meeting):
- "Oh great, another visitor wishes to speak with %Name? He is an ambassador and is not here to entertain tourists, so unless the %PCRace has information about his dear S'Khar-ra, he does not care what they have to say."
- (Upon first meeting if you are a Khajiit):
- "Oh what is it now? Yes, %Name welcomes you to the Elsweyr Mission, %PCRace, but %Name cannot engage in idle chatter right now. Unless you have information regarding his dear S'Khar-ra, he does not care what you have to say."
- "What does %PCName want with %Name? He is too busy worrying about poor S'Khar-ra to care about much else."
- "Do you have any news of S'Khar-ra?"
- (If S'Khar-ra has returned to the Elsweyr Mission):
- "Ah, Ji'Morashu-ri is so glad to see his noble brother returned safe and sound! We all owe you a great debt, %PCName. Please, accept this as a token of the Missions' appreciation." (Disposition +30, and you receive an Amulet of Khajiit Sight and 100 gold)
- "Thank you for your service, %PCName. At least now Ji'Morashu-ri can finally calm down, knowing that his brother is safe."
- (If S'Khar-ra is dead):
- "Ji'Morashu-ri just can't stop thinking about poor S'Khar-ra. How could he let it happen? He was such a horrible brother!"
- latest rumors:
- "Ji'Morashu-ri has no time for rumors! Especially not now, with his dear brother S'Khar-ra missing!"
- S'Khar-ra:
- "Yes, Ji'Morashu-ri's brother, Prince S'Khar-ra, was kidnapped in the dead of night. Our guards failed to catch the snatcher and now poor S'Khar-ra is likely in grave danger. All that we know is that the culprit is a Dunmer. We hope that they aren't a slaver or, gods forbid, an agent of House Hlaalu!"
- I can find your missing brother.:
- "You would do this for us? Ji'Morashu-ri and the others at the Mission would be in your debt. We have lodged a report with Captain Maurissha at the Imperial Legion command post in the city, but she is moving too slowly. Perhaps you will show more alacrity. Ask around Old Ebonheart and report your findings to Ji'Morashu-ri, %PCName!"
- (If you are a Khajiit):
- "You honor your people, %PCRace. In this foreign land, it is good that we help each other. We have lodged a report with Captain Maurissha [sic] at the Imperial Legion command post in the city, but she is moving too slowly. Perhaps you will show more alacrity. Ask around Old Ebonheart and report your findings to Ji'Morashu-ri, %PCName!"
- I don't have time for this.:
- "Ji'Morashu-ri is not surprised to hear this. Morrowind is an unforgiving land to our people, and we have learned not to expect kindness." (Disposition -10)
- (If you are a Khajiit):
- "Ji'Morashu-ri is frankly surprised. The Dark Elves of Morrowind are often cruel to us, but he thought a fellow Khajiit would see things differently. Alas, Ji'Morashu-ri was wrong." (Disposition -20)
- "Did you bring Prince S'Khar-ra with you? No? Then go and find him! He might be in mortal danger!"
- "That dreadful Dunmer carried the prince into the water!? Then we must expect the worst. Although... maybe there is still hope. Ji'Morashu-ri believes that the city sewers empty into the docks. Maybe they are keeping Ji'Morashu-ri's brother confined in the canals under Old Ebonheart. Poor S'Khar-ra! If he is down there, you need to find him and get him back before something bad happens to him."
- (If you have found S'Khar-ra, but couldn't convince him to return to the Mission):
- "You have found Ji'Morashu-ri's brother? This is good news indeed! But where is S'Khar-ra? A ratcatcher? Him? Ah, very well. When he picks up a fancy like that, even his brother won't be able to dissuade him from it. At least we know where the prince is, and that he has not been taken by our enemies. S'Khar-ra will bore of his new occupation eventually and return. Here, Ji'Morashu-ri would gift you a token of his appreciation." (You receive 150 gold)
- "We thank you for your efforts in locating him. It's only a matter of time before he comes back."
- (If you convinced S'Khar-ra to return to the Mission):
- "He has grown such an appetite for these vermin. Ji'Morashu-ri fears that we will soon have more rat meat than moon sugar in here."
- (If you convinced S'Khar-ra to return to the Mission and Rothur and Velmu are not dead):
- "He has grown such an appetite for these vermin. Ji'Morashu-ri fears that we will soon have more rat meat than moon sugar in here. We may need to contract my brother's ratcatchers friends to deliver it!"
- (If S'Khar-ra is dead):
- "What?! Ji'Morashu-ri's brother has already been killed in the sewers? What a calamity! Oh, Ji'Morashu-ri should have never let him out of his sight. Leave Ji'Morashu-ri to his grief, %PCClass. Ji'Morashu-ri shall be holding the palace responsible for this failure to keep its noble ambassadors safe!" (Disposition -20)
- "Such a calamity! Such a shame on this mission! Leave Ji'Morashu-ri's to his grief, %PCClass. He shall be holding the palace responsible for this failure to keep its noble ambassadors safe!" (Disposition -20)
- "I don't want to talk about it."
The RiftEdit
- coded package:
- "Yes? Do you have something for %Name?"
- Leave.:
- "Very well then, %PCName."
- [Give him the package.]:
- "Where did you get this?" (Removed Coded Package from Elsweyr from your inventory)
- You wouldn't believe me if I told you.:
- A magical experiment went horribly wrong at Ald Volos. A Khajiit named Ra'Thibalthad helped me escape, but he was killed. I found the package among his things on the ground.:
- "A somewhat fantastic tale, to be sure, but not outside the realm of possibility. Go on, %PCName. Tell me the rest. %Name needs to know everything."
- A rift to another realm began flooding the tower. I managed to close it, but when I returned a dead tiger lay where Ra'Thibalthad had been. I believe the rift transformed and killed him somehow.:
- "Thank you for sharing the whole truth, %PCName. Ra'Thibalthad was a court wizard and agent of our interests here in Morrowind. He disappeared without a trace some time ago. %Name assumed he had been captured by slavers illegally... such terrors are commonplace here, %Name has found. Your story of the portal must also be true, as Ra'Thibalthad was known to pursue such studies. As for the transformation, it has been known to happen to Khajiit. The form of Khajiit is not bound by the same rules as men or mer."
- Continue:
- "In any case, %Name wants to thank you for delivering these sensitive documents, and once again for telling me what happened. Such courtesy is rarely given to Khajiit here in Morrowind. You could just have easily given them to an Imperial spymaster, or a Hlaalu agent. But instead you came here, to %Name. As a token of thanks, please accept this gift. Walk on warm sands when you go, %PCName." (You receive 1 Ruby, 1 Emerald, 4 Pearls, and 1 Silver Hand Mirror (Cat))
- When I returned from closing the chaotic portal, I found in place of Ra'Thibalthad a dead tiger wearing his clothes. I think the tiger ate him, but choked to death trying to consume him whole.:
- "Is that so, %PCName? Khajiit was eaten by tiger, in Ald Volos? What an interesting hypothesis. Well, %Name thanks you for the information, and for delivering these documents safely. Here is your payment. Please be going now; %Name has other appointments today." Goodbye (Disposition -25, and you receive 1 Emerald and 4 Pearls)
- It was found near the body of Ra'Thibalthad.:
- "What? Ra'Thibalthad... How did he die, %PCName?" (See choices above)
- It has your seal on it. That's all I know.:
- "It certainly does. You were right to return this to %Name. These are sensitive documents that have been sorely missed. Please, take these jewels as payment. May you walk on warm sands when you go, %PCName." (You receive 1 Ruby, 1 Emerald, and 4 Pearls)
- transformation:
- (If Disposition ≥ 50):
- "Y'ffre is believed to have given stable physical forms to all men and mer at the dawn of time. But Khajiit are not bound by the laws of Y'frre. Our bodies were given to us at birth by the grace of Azura and Lorkhan. Their magic is such that Khajiit have a more chaotic form in this world. Powerful forces can disrupt our physical forms and cause mutations, like what you witnessed at Ald Volos. This is only believed to happen under extraordinary circumstances."
