Sarrugi Sentishi is a Dark Elf Barbarian and the leader of a band of smugglers based in the cavern of Massanud, which he appears to operate from despite the residents of Rilsoan being fully aware of him and his activities - his escape from the law thus far would seem to be due to the families of said settlement in part contributing people to the ranks of his gang. He can also offer training in Heavy Armor, Medium Armor, and Blunt Weapon.
Somewhat garrulous, Sarrugi is nonetheless a violent individual, who is quite capable of killing the prisoners he takes. He appears to have a penchant for taking tongues - it's the first thing he promises to do to Varuso Veloth if nobody pays the mer's ransom during Follow the Money, and he does just that to another captive in Art of the Deal, Yontus Kushummu, when Yontus proves a little too acidic for his liking.
In the event that you pay the ransom in Follow the Money, Sarrugi will remember your name - and summon you to deliver a second payment come the events of Art of the Deal. His treatment of his prisoners appears enough to prompt the Orc, Yak gro-Yam, to demand that you take Sarrugi's weapon (over his dead body) as a price for Yak's ongoing silence on Yontus' past dealings with the East Empire Company.
For protection, he wears a bonemold cuirass, a set of Orcish greaves, a pair of Orcish boots, a Dwemer left bracer, a bonemold right bracer, a bonemold left pauldron, and a Dwemer right pauldron. For clothing, he wears a common amulet. He wields Sarrugi's Scepter, and carries an Imperial netch blade and the key to Varuso Veloth's slave bracers.
Aside from his natural resistance to fire and the sanctuary provided by his ancestors, he knows no spells.

DialogueEdit
- Greeting:
- "Speak."
- Background:
- "I am %Name, king of smugglers."
- Dwarven:
- "It's an illegal material, which means lots of money for a man of my trade. It's been great fun moving it up and down the river, and it's been great fun selling it, but now, I find it most fun to WEAR it. Don't you think it fits me quite well, %PCRace?"
- my trade:
- "I am a smuggler. Once that meant drugs and Dwarven; now it means men and mer. The fools of Indoril, in their vain pursuit of 'Hlaalu spies' on land, no longer bother to patrol the river. This has made kidnapping and ransoming wealthy sailors a very lucrative venture indeed."
(If you are doing the quest 'Drinking, Stealing, Ranting'):
- thief's location:
- (If Disposition ≥ 40):
- "I told Moryn to stop meddling with outlanders by himself."
(If you are not doing 'Follow the Money'):
- Varuso Veloth:
- "Look at him, dressed all man-like! Clearly he's worth a nice sum, but he's refused to tell us anything: whom he works for, whom he works with, who'll pay his ransom... So if no one comes by, we'll just chop off his tongue and sell him to the Dres. They're always looking for house slaves. Or are you feeling charitable, %PCName? His price is 1000 drakes, and he might pay you back himself. Eventually."
- Yes:
- "The clink of coins is always a small joy to the ears, %PCName. Thank you for providing it." (Disposition +5, removed 1000 gold from your inventory, and you receive the Key for Varuso Veloth)
- (If you don't have the gold):
- "Well? Where is my gold, %PCRace?" (Disposition -1)
- No:
- "Your loss. And his!"
East Empire Company: Follow the MoneyEdit
- (If you haven't found him yet):
- "Around these parts, we've had a few fanatics killing outlanders lately. Not my business -- outlanders who pay up are fine by me. But you might want to look in the river just south from Velonith, by the cliffs. We spotted a dead Nord on the riverbed around there some time ago."
- "I don't think I like your tone, merchant." (Disposition -20)
- (If Disposition ≥ 50):
- "Haha! Boldly spoken, merchant. You are right; no one has come, and it seems no one will. So here is your key." (Removed 500 gold from your inventory, and you receive the Key for Varuso Veloth)

East Empire Company: Art of the DealEdit
- Greeting:
- "%PCName, my friend, you never mentioned you were with the East Empire Company! Did you bring my five-thousand-drake ransom for my new friends, Yontus Kushummu and his Orc?"
- East Empire Company:
- "I could tell the Indoril you're a Hlaalu spy and they would kill you. But they'd kill me too. So let's do business."
- five-thousand-drake ransom:
- "You should have gotten my letter. Here I have two fine agents of your very fine merchant company, and I request only 5000 drakes for their safe passage back into your hands. They specifically requested you, you know."
- Here you are: 5000 drakes.:
- "As always, it is a joy to feel your gold in my palms. Here: two keys. The Orc already had the bracer on him when he arrived." (Removed 5000 gold from your inventory, and you receive the Key for Yontus Kushummu and the Key for Yak gro-Yam)
- (If you don't have the EEC Ransom Note):
- I heard nothing about a letter. I don't have your money, but can't we work something out?: (See responses to next choice below)
- My superiors only had 2000 drakes to spare. Can't we work something out, friend?:
- "No." (Disposition -5)
- (If Disposition ≥ 80):
- "3000, because I like you, your story is touching, and I don't want to have to wipe your brains off my hammer."
- Deal.:
- "As always, it is a joy to feel your gold in my palms. Here: two keys. The Orc already had the bracer on him when he arrived." (Removed 3000 gold from your inventory, and you receive the Key for Yontus Kushummu and the Key for Yak gro-Yam)
- Excuse me for a moment.:
- "Yes, take your time. It is only your friends' lives at stake."
- (If your Mercantile < 50):
- These aren't merchants, just some of my clients. They're not worth nearly what you're asking.:
- "I don't care. And I don't like your tone." (Disposition -10)
- (If Disposition ≥ 50):
- "If they're so useless, don't buy. Otherwise, buy at 5000."
- (If your Mercantile ≥ 50):
- These aren't merchants, just some of my clients. The Company won't send anyone else to save them. 2000 for them both.:
- "Hmm. I suppose if you really are the only buyer, then I am at your mercy. Then here you are: two keys. The Orc already had the bracer on him when he arrived." (Removed 2000 gold from your inventory, and you receive the Key for Yontus Kushummu and the Key for Yak gro-Yam)
- (If you don't have the gold):
- "Hmm. I suppose if you really are the only buyer, then I am at your mercy. I'd agree to your bargain if you had that gold on you."
- Excuse me for a moment.:
- "Yes, take your time. It is only your friends' lives at stake."
- stay quiet about us:
- "The East Empire Company would obviously prove a more profitable ally to me than the Indoril. Don't worry about me. Worry about your friends."
- Yontus Kushummu:
- "Just like Varuso Veloth, he refused to give you up. His Orc was much more cooperative."
- "I should have mentioned the tongue earlier. Sorry, %PCName. The shouting and insulting got old quickly. I'm sure you understand."
- (If Yontus Kushummu is dead):
- "What had to be done had to be done, eh?"
