Detailed WalkthroughEdit
At the western approach to Bal Foyen the player meets a grumpy old Dunmer named Bols Ulven. He struggles to uplift a chest that fell from his pack guar and blames his illness. You have an option to either help him lift the chest (strength check =>50), or heal him by casting a Restore Strength spell (until his Strength equals or exceeds 40 pts). He will reward you with 25 septims if you lift the chest, or 100 septims if healed.
If the player does look inside the chest, a secondary quest will occur, in which they may decide whether or not to report the merchant for smuggling ash statues (this is counted as a separate quest in the CS). The guard will reward the player with 100 septims for reporting this.
