WelcomeEdit

Page FrameworkEdit

Can you please stop deleting the framework at the bottom of the npc/creature pages? Basically the notes/bug section, they are there for a reason just in case they ever need to be used in the future.--Talyyn (talk) 13:48, 5 November 2024 (UTC)

Ok I will--BixenteN7Akantor (talk) 14:03, 5 November 2024 (UTC)

Fishy StickEdit

You have been given a Fishy Stick!

Your dedication and diligence to the wiki has not gone unnoticed. A user has seen the progress you've made, and has given you a Fishy Stick because of it. Good work! The user had the following to say:

Good work on documenting all that technical info for ESO, as well as getting those photos, its been a tremendous help! Keep up the good work! :) The Rim of the Sky (talk) 05:35, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
Thank you ! :) --BixenteN7Akantor (talk) 09:30, 17 November 2024 (UTC)

ESO Veteran numbersEdit

Just FYI, I've just modified the {{ESO Veteran}} template so that if it sees something that looks like a number for either the normal or veteran parameters, it'll automatically add commas where needed. Anything else should show as is. Hopefully, that'll make your life easier. If you notice any oddball cases that aren't working right, please let me know. Robin Hood(talk) 18:45, 21 December 2024 (UTC)

Oh god THANK YOU! --BixenteN7Akantor (talk) 18:50, 21 December 2024 (UTC)

Mod HeaderEdit

Hi, concerning what you mentioned in your edit summary for Betty Netch, referencing what was discussed on my talk page, Mod Headers are only for NPCs that were introduced starting with DLCs, like River Troll. Base Game NPCs/content don't have Mod Headers, as can be seen on a large quantity of pages. --Lexion (talk) 20:18, 4 January 2025 (UTC)

Hmm, weird that I haven't noticed that. It's noted thank you !--BixenteN7Akantor (talk) 20:20, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
No worries! --Lexion (talk) 20:21, 4 January 2025 (UTC)

Commas in health valuesEdit

Per this edit, health values across the ESO namespace exclude the comma separator. This should not be changed on a page-by-page basis without first seeking consensus for a site-wide change. I agree that the separator makes these values more readable, but having it on some pages and not others results in data inconsistency. —Legoless (talk) 17:25, 8 January 2025 (UTC)

Well when I arrived it was already spit between commas and non-commas. --BixenteN7Akantor (talk) 17:27, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
Just as a side note, it can also be done in the template itself. That's probably the easiest approach if we decide to go with commas. Robin Hood(talk) 17:53, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
Set health templates, like ESO Health|a, are already set with commas, so at this point I don't see why comma-less should be the enforced way. It just creates more confusion. --Lexion (talk) 18:08, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
I agree with Bixente and Lexion on this one, commas are far better for readability and should be common practice (and they already are on most pages now). I've written up a proposal to formally make this the standard on the wiki. The Rim of the Sky (talk) 18:33, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
Just some reasoning I believe that was used at the time, various places use different delimitators, some countries use commas, others use periods, and having neither helps prevent confusion for readers from around the world. I'm fine with having commas for everything, as long as we are consistent. Jeancey (talk) 17:11, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
