White Pine Lodge is a house that can be purchased in Bruma. It is located in the center of Bruma, between the Cathedral of St. Martin and the Bruma Fighters Guild. It is in a very strategic trading location, placed as it is between the market, Ice-Wind Traders and Northern Arms.
To purchase the home, you must first complete the Service Rewarded quest. Upon completion, Count Desilus Carvain will permit you to purchase the house from his steward, Rignar, for 10,000 gold. You will then be able to buy upgrades from Cedus Perusius at Ice-Wind Traders. The total cost of the house (including all upgrades) is 12,450 gold.
When first purchased, prior to any upgrades being bought, it is clean but fairly bare. The ground floor has a cooking pot and a few chests, the bedroom has a double bed and a weapons rack, while the study has a table, chair and bedroll.
Once you have purchased the upgrades detailed below, it will fill up with food, drink, ingredients, potions, books, scrolls, soul gems, crafting materials, weapons and armor. In particular, you will have access to copies of the skill books Song of the Alchemists (Alchemy) and Catalogue of Weapon Enchantments (Enchanting), a paralysis poison recipe, the rare books The Collected Works of Miki Aia and Souls, Black and White, and a grudging note from Cadius Venucius at the Bruma Synod Conclave. An alchemy lab, arcane enchanter, oven, anvil, workbench, grindstone, tanning rack and weapons racks will also be added.
NotesEdit
- An "Empty" shadowmark can be found carved into the wood to the left of the entrance. This doesn't change even after you buy the house and upgrade it fully.
BugsEdit
- After placing a dagger in the Dagger Rack just to the right when entering, it won't be possible to retrieve it anymore. Instead, activating the rack will simply cause further daggers you have equipped to be added to the rack and stacked on top of each other, with resulting clipping. ?
