Chef Orzorga was a legendary Orc cook,[2][3] and a culinary master of Orcish cuisine,[4] and a former Commander of the Irregulars forces of the Imperial Legion.[5]

Little is known of Orzorga's past. While some have mistaken Orzorga for a mere roadside cook, she was, in fact, an artist with the oven.[6] In addition to her culinary prowess, she once served as a Commander in the Irregulars of the Imperial Legion.[5]
In 2E 582, she received a letter from General Proximus requesting her return to the warfront, referencing the tragedy at Lake Rumare as a difficult but necessary lesson for any officer.[5] Nevertheless, Orzorga chose to remain in Wrothgar, where she became a renowned and respected cook. Orzorga opened an inn, known as Orzorga's Kitchen, located north of Orsinium atop the ancient Morkuldin Forge. The ruined area transformed into a small settlement,[7] providing a safe haven for travelers passing through the mountains.[8][9] Her cooking attracted many fans, with travelers and locals alike drawn to her dishes.[10][11] The inn welcomed all, as long as they weren’t seeking trouble. Its inhabitants hoped to one day expand the settlement to accommodate more adventurers, but for the time being, they offered good drinks and a warm hearth to the travelers who visited.[12]
Orzorga prepared a variety of local dishes, including Orzorga's Tripe Trifle Pocket,[13] Orzorga's Smoked Bear Haunch,[14] Orzorga's Blood Price Pie,[15] and Orzorga's Red Frothgar.[16] Initially, she hired a Breton assistant named Hamelyn Serpe but later decided to part ways with him.[17] With the help of a mysterious adventurer, she gathered ingredients for many of her recipes.[18][19][20] Eventually, her culinary mastery caught the attention of King Kurog gro-Orsinium's court. Hearth-Wife Barazal, King Kurog's wife, personally named her the master of Orc cuisine and invited her to prepare a feast in honor of the Orc king.[4][21]

The culinary legacy of Chef Orzorga was among the many interests of the famed Arcanist Azandar al-Cybiades in the Second Era.[2]
Fourth EraEdit
Orzorga's recipes and reputation endured through generations, with her still celebrated by Orcs as a culinary genius. A book about her culinary talents survived into the Fourth Era and was discovered among Orcish relics reclaimed from Breton soldiers by a friend of Chief Larak of Mor Khazgur. Her famed banquet was later noted by Urzhag gro-Larak, apprentice to Balagog gro-Nolob, in his culinary book, Tastes and Tales from Tamriel and several of her recipes remained well-known. She was also remembered as a fierce commander.[3]

Orzorga's Red FrothgarEdit
A drink in the old Orcish style, also referred to as ice-cold dredged berry mash. It contains clear water, comberry, honey and mint,[16] as well as wrathberries and a skin of ice stream water.[1] Records of this recipe were remembered well into the Fourth Era and documented by Urzhag gro-Larak.[3]
Orzorga's Blood Price PieEdit
Also known as the Ventricle Pie. A pie containing stewed blood and minced heart as well as red meat, potatoes, violet Coprinus and guts. It is traditionally served cold.[15] It was prepared with echatere moss, ogre heart, and intestines. After thorough research and consultations with the clergy of both Malacath and Namira, it was determined that the use of these ingredients did not violate any cannibalistic taboos.[1]
Orzorga's Smoked Bear HaunchEdit
A smoked bear haunch. Aside from bear meat, the dish included glacial tomatoes, tundra truffles and a good amount of durzog lichen. According to legends, it was a favored dish of Baloth Bloodtusk himself. Orzorga's experimental dish featured meat of a bear that had consumed a lot of coffee beans, aiming to impart a subtle coffee flavor. This resulted in her unique coffee-infused bear's head stew.[1] Some variants of the dish also contained regular tomatoes, White Cap, Frost Mirriam and perfect fish roe.[14]
Orzorga's Tripe Trifle PocketEdit
A Shatul Clan recipe. Pockets of dough filled with Wrothgarian Harpy brains and bile mixed in with sedge grass. Harpy bile is also a natural preservative.[1] Some variations of this dish included a breaded pocket filled with minced gut, sweetened with beet sugar and enhanced with columbine.[13] In the Fourth Era, a book containing records of this dish made its way to Mor Khazgur, where it was later recreated by Urzhag gro-Larak, the chieftain's son and an aspiring cook.[3]
