Corruption of Root

The Corruption of Root (originally the Spirit of Root) is a nature spirit who takes a form resembling a Druidic Wispmother. She is found at the Dais of Rootspeak within the Deeproot at the of the Earthen Root Enclave. This spirit was corrupted by the invading Firesong Druids who are lead by Archdruid Devyric.

The Corruption of Root serves as the second boss of this dungeon.

Summon Distributaries: At roughly 66% and 33% of her health, the spirit will retreat into the ground and summon three Distributary doppelgängers. They will take her place and must be defeated before you can fight her again.
Summon Fauns: The Corruption of Root summons Fauns during the fight.

Quest-Related EventsEdit

Just before you reach the Corruption of Root, Druid Laurel will have been abducted by Archdruid Devyric. You will need to defeat this spirit to follow after him.
