Spider

Spiders are insects found all throughout Tamriel. They range from small, passive creatures to large, aggressive ones. They vary somewhat in appearance: from brown, black, grey, and blue spiders to spiders with red markings. They can be found in a variety of places, such as in their webs, in caves, or in forests.

Small, passive spiders yield crawlers when slain. Both types can drop spider eggs, which serve as an alchemical reagent.

Skill and AbilitiesEdit

Corrosive Bite: A basic melee attack dealing low poison damage.
Spit: A basic ranged attack dealing low poison damage.
Bite: The spider takes a fierce bite, dealing moderate physical damage. This can be blocked to set the spider off-balance. (Poison-centered spiders only)
Poison Spray: The spider sprays venom at its target, indicated by a conal AoE, dealing continuous low poison damage. (Poison-centered spiders only)
Poison Lob: The spider spits out a glob of poison at its target position, indicated by a growing red circle. Once the circle becomes full, the cluster explodes, dealing moderate poison damage. (Poison-centered spiders only)
Encase: The spider shoots a cluster of web at its target which bursts when landing on the ground, creating a large field, indicated by a red circle, applying a constant snaring effect on targets. (Web-centered spiders only)
Devour: If a nearby spider corpse is present, either big or small, the spider rushes over to it and starts eating it to regain health. This can be interrupted to set the spider off-balance.
