Eyestars are the eyes harvested from the starfish-like eyestars, which can be found on the seabed and in lakes dotted around Morrowind. While they are meant to be creatures, eyestars are immobile and function the same as plants.

• Eyestars were originally intended to be creatures, but lacked the required animations.
• Your chance to successfully harvest an eyestar used to be based on your Agility, Luck, and Alchemy skill. A failed attempt would result in 5 damage and becoming infected with Witches' Pox, Chrondiasis, Caliron's Curse, or Wizard Fever, although resistance to disease reduced the chance of this happening. The exact formula for your percentage of success was (Luck + Alchemy + Agility) / 4.
